Shillong Peak Shillong Peak is the highest peak of the province of Himalayas, standing at an altitude of 1,965 metre above the sea level. One of the most visited sites of the hill station, this peak provides a breathtaking view of Shillong city and Himalayan ranges.Butter fly MuseumThe Meghalaya Butterfly Museum houses 1,600 species of butterflies, moths and insects of distinct patterns and colours gathered from around the world. Museum was inaugurated with the view to conserve rare species of fascinating colourful butterflies and moths. Elephant Falls,Elephant Falls is among most popular tourist sites of the city in East Khasi Hills District.
